Meet your representatives

Megan Diamond
Elected

Kia ora, I have been a part of the St Brendans school community since 2012. I have had one child attend St Brendans in the past and one who is a current student.

I have not been on a school board before but have a varied work career that would give a well rounded perspective. I worked in Finance for 10 years before joining Police. I am a Senior Sergeant currently working at Police National Headquarters. I am also working towards a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

I see offering to be part of the board as a way to support the school and help maintain the existing positive culture.

David Gibson
Elected

My name is David Gibson and I am standing for the St Brendan's (Heretaunga) Board of Trustees. I am former St Brendan's PTF member and have two daughters currently attending St Brendan's demonstrating my interest in seeing our school continue to succeed. My family have built our home in Upper Hutt and I am an NZDF employee and FENZ volunteer who is committed to our community. Professionally I work in a field of applying legislation and policy to information release requests and am comfortable in a collaborative team environment. I would be excited to be granted this opportunity to apply myself to the issues that surround the running of our amazing little school.

Jithin Jose
Elected

Hi, I am Jithin Jose and I live in Wallaceville with my wife Reema, daughter Jaine and son Aydan. Jaine is Year 5 student at St. Brendan's and Aydan will be starting the school next February. I work as a Project Manager in the Power Transmission industry where I started my career as a Trainee Engineer. I have experience in hands on management, collaboration administration and financial management. I believe my work ethic and experience provides me with good skills and knowledge for this role.

I am committed to working alongside the current board members and principal to bring the best for the school and our children.

I am a part of the St Brendan's whānau through My Daughter Navarra Witeri who is a current tauira (student) in year 2. I am also the Schools Netball Coordinator as of this year.

I work full time for Hato Hone St John as a Community Education lead delivering a rangatahi leadership programme Poipoia te Pitomata. My role is to implement an inclusive, relatable, and sustainable programme that is designed to be delivered in the right environment, delivered by the right people, and have the right kaupapa that encourages connection, confidence, and self-belief for who we deliver too.

I am a Mum of 3 tamariki, My son Tiaan who is now 22 and ex tauira of St Joseph's UH and St Patrick's Silverstream, My daughter Kylah 21, who is also an ex tauira of St Joseph's UH and St Mary's College Thorndon, and my 6 year old daughter Navarra.

My biggest passion is sports, namely Netball, having over 24 years coaching, developing and coordinating rangatahi throughout the Wellington region. Over the years I have supported many local sports clubs and St Joseph's Primary school as a coach, coordinator, committee member and in a management capacity.

I have applied to be a part of the St Brendan's board to assist the school in its future and focus on what are the best outcomes for our rangatahi within the school and our wider whānau.
